Cyndi Lauper joins us on Rockabilly N Blues Radio Hour this week to discuss her 11th studio album, Detour (available now from Sire Records), which finds her covering traditional Country/Rockabilly/Western Swing tunes.  We talk about her excitement of being on Sire Records and working with Seymour Stein as well as her early rockabilly roots while in her band Blue Angel and the NY scene at the time.  We'll hear a couple of tracks from Levi & The Rockats and Robert Gordon (artists Cyndi would see in NY around that time) as well as a new B-side from Dion!

*Note that every attempt was made to clear up the cell phone audio in certain spots from the interview but such is the nature of the cell sound sometimes.
